CASA DE TURPIALES
Commissioned in 2016 and completed in 2017, Casa de Turpiales is a 8ft. wide by 17 ft. high stainless steel structure made of flat metal bars that are weaved and welded together to create a shape reminiscent of a gigant egg. The structure of Casa de Turpiales has an entrance that welcomes 2 or 3 to experience it from within. Every evening, light (LEDs) emanates and fades away softly from the radius of its base, shifting hue every couple of minutes. The sculpture is permanently installed in the corner of 8800 Doral Blvd. in Florida.
